Ocean Regulation

A focused two-day reset for couples who still care

When trauma, betrayal, conflict, or disconnection has created too much distance to bridge on your own.

Deep work. Private care. Real change.

The Intensive Journey

Before the Intensive

We begin with a consultation, clinical fit screening, and preparation so the two days are focused.

Two Focused Days

Structured private sessions slow reactivity, name the pattern, and create safer conversations.

Aftercare Materials

You leave with practical tools, custom resources, and optional integration support for home.

Why the Ocean Setting Helps

A calmer environment for difficult conversations.

Rapid conflict loops are harder to interrupt when both partners are already braced. The intensive uses uninterrupted time, sensory grounding, breathwork, and careful pacing to help both nervous systems slow down enough for repair.

Formats

Three ways to do the work.

Choose a beachfront setting in Virginia or South Carolina, or a virtual format from home when you are located in Colorado, South Carolina, or Virginia.

Virginia

Two focused days at beachfront locations including Virginia Beach and Chincoteague or Assateague Island.

South Carolina

A private two-day intensive in a coastal South Carolina setting, including Myrtle Beach.

Virtual

A two-day Doxy.me intensive for clients located in Colorado, South Carolina, or Virginia.

Best Fit

For partners tired of making each other the problem.

  • You still care about each other, but the same conflict cycle keeps taking over.
  • Trauma, betrayal, distance, shutdown, or defensiveness has changed the way safety feels.
  • Weekly sessions have felt too spread out to hold the momentum you need.
  • You want direct, private, clinically grounded time instead of a retreat-style experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions couples ask before they book.

Is this a retreat?

No. The beach setting is used for grounding and regulation, but the work is clinical, private, and structured.

How do we know if an intensive is safe for us?

Fit is screened before the intensive. Active or recent violence is not appropriate for couples intensive work.

Can insurance pay for it?

Insurance cannot be used for intensives, and superbills are not provided for reimbursement.

Where are intensives available?

In-person options are available in Virginia and South Carolina. Virtual intensives are available when clients are located in Colorado, South Carolina, or Virginia.

Begin With Fit

Start with a private consultation.

The first call is a calm place to talk through what is happening, ask about safety and fit, and decide whether an intensive is the right next step.
